One-time setup (30 seconds)
  1. Arrange only Timeline / Layers and the Composition viewer the way you like.
  2. Window → Workspace → Save as New Workspace… → name it GHOST Focus 50/50.
  3. Resize to roughly 60/40 and save another as GHOST Focus 60/40.
  4. Hit Refresh here and pick each one above.

After Effects can't split panels via scripting, so GHOST switches between the workspaces you saved.

Layer Hider

Hide selected layers from the timeline so you can work with a fresh view. Uses AE's Shy flag plus the composition's Hide Shy toggle.

How it works
  • Hide Selected marks the selected layers as Shy and turns on Hide Shy Layers for the active comp.
  • Unhide All clears the Shy flag on every layer of the active comp.
  • Toggle Shy Mode flips the comp's Hide Shy Layers switch without changing individual layers.

One-click flags for the layers you have selected — Solo, Lock, Visibility, Duplicate, Rename prefix. Runs inside a single undo step.

AI cut-out for stills. Use the selected timeline layer (its footage is swapped in place) or pick an image from disk and drop the transparent PNG straight into your comp.
